Matt is a dedicated insurance professional who has been contributing to the Bort Insurance team since July 2021. Before transitioning to insurance, Matt gained experience in outside sales, specializing in LED lighting, construction, and industrial sales.

Beyond his role as an insurance agent, Matt is a seasoned mobile and club DJ, boasting a journey that began in 2009. His love for music extends from the art of DJing to the joy of performing at weddings, bars, clubs, parties, and even engaging audiences through live streaming.

Outside the office, Matt is an avid foodie as he enjoys experimenting with flavors and creating delicious meals. Alongside this culinary passion, Matt is an enthusiastic backpacker, finding solace in the great outdoors for days at a time.

Adding to his diverse experiences, Matt is a retired MMA fighter starting his fighting career in 2009 and concluding his last match in 2016. Proudly rooted in Erie, he is a Harborcreek native and an alumnus of Harbor Creek High School and Edinboro University. At home, Matt shares his space with his girlfriend, Tonya, and a lively bunch comprising two dogs, Trixy and Lennie, three cats – Maize, Willow, and Ollie, and a charming collection of chickens and ducks.
